Five Things, No. 3

Five things you should read, watch or just know about this week:

1. For those of you who watch Downer Abbey -- I mean, Downton Abbey -- and were severely disappointed or angered or depressed after this Sunday's episode, these articles are kind of helpful. Julian Fellowes and Dan Stevens on why what happened happened. (SPOILER ALERT. Don't click on the links if you've haven't seen it yet).  Then, to cheer up, watch "Downton does One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful'"

2. Hopefully you know by now who Kid President is. If not, then you probably need a Pep Talk. Then, if you haven't seen it yet, watch this video that tells the real story about Kid President.

3. I really liked this blog post from Susan Isaacs, "What's that big thing God wants you to do?"

4. The Oscars are Sunday night, and so now is my time to say it: If you haven't seen Argo or Silver Linings Playbook yet, you should see both. (I'm assuming you've seen Lincoln & Les Mis). Which film do you think will win best picture?

5. I am looking forward to reading Sheryl Sandberg's new book "Lean In," when it comes out. Already put a request in for it at the library. :)  A brief article from The Atlantic about the book.
