Five Things, No. 4

Five things you should read, watch or just know about this week:

1. I've gotten an advance copy of Shauna Niequist's new book, Bread & Wine. I am loving it. I loved her second book, Bittersweet, so much. I might like this one more. It's about food, yes, but much more so about community and friendship and vulnerability and shame. It's coming out in a month, so be sure to get yourself a copy. In the meantime, you can read her blog & watch the trailer for the book.

2. I don't know if you watched the Oscars, or if you find Jennifer Lawrence awesome, or attractive, but she is both, and I have a total girl crush on her. She fell at the Oscars, and handled it gracefully. And she is just stinking hilarious. And there are about 11 reasons why she's your BFF in your head.

3. If you are a designer or a creative or an artist of some kind, then you should check out this blog post, from Jay Argaet. It's a behind-the-scenes look at the artwork from Hillsong United's new album, Zion. Love the thought-process he put into it. The album is pretty great too. You should check it out.

4. For those who watch Parks & Rec, NBC is pretty much the greatest, and created a Pinterest album of Ben & Leslie's wedding.

5.ย Everyone should learn to code.
